Introduction
My name is Daniel Kahelin. I am a 16-year old student and an aspiring writer. After all, what can be better than creating a Universe of your own?
I love reading. Since I am not a very outgoing or talkative person, it is the best way for me to learn about the world. For that very same reason, writing is the best way for me to express my thoughts and share my view of life with other people.
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL, USA, but for the last few years my family has been living in Europe. My parents are international journalists, so their job gives us a chance to travel all over the world. I have been to Italy and Spain, Thailand and Egypt, Turkey and Cyprus.
I have lived in different cities and interacted with people of different cultures. One lesson I have learned is that you should treat people the way you want them to treat you.
I have a horse, a dog and a cat. I work as a model and go to the theater school. I also take German lessons, play tennis and practice martial arts. And, of course, I read books, listen to the music, and write my own short stories.
On the next few pages I would like to share with you some of my college works. My first and so far biggest research project is on CouchSurfing. If you don't know what it is - please read my work on the next page and tell me what you think. If you are already familiar with CouchSurfing - still read my work and tell me what you think :)
Another memorable project is my Eartern Religion personal experience report. It contains interesting links to the Russian museum of Eastern Art that I think you might enjoy.
Thanks for stopping by!
